New Year’s Resolutions… How to Make it Past February 10

Did you know that most people who set New  Year’s Resolutions don’t make it past February 10? Yep, just over a month into the year and all those high hopes and resolutions are OUT the WINDOW!

The new year is such a time of hope and excitement, people are ready to change.

Here’s some of the top New Year’s Resolutions…

Lose weight

stop smoking

Get in better shape

make more money

Which of these are on your list this year?

3 of them are on mine!

So, what do we do to make it past good old February 10th and stay on track to REALLY make our resolutions become reality?

Here’s some tips:

1. Get some support. 

Let people know what your resolutions are and tell them that you are serious about accomplishing them this year.

2. Have a plan!

General goals like lose weight, make more money are going to be nearly impossible to stick with and accomplish if you don’t have a plan of action. If you don’t know what you need to do each and every day to move one step closer to that goal you just won’t. Period.

3. Get some accountability

Have at least one person who knows the goals you’re working on and set up times to check in with them.

I know I definitely need those three things, and I bet YOU do too!

So here’s what I’m doing (with you I hope!).

I’m setting up a challenge for the new year. It’s the Let’s Keep Our Resolutions Challenge!

Here’s what it’s all about…

3. I’ll hook you up with the private challenge group where we’ll have meal plans, and workout tips, and yes, accountability and support!!

4. We’ll work together to keep each other on track and moving forward to make it past that February 10th point!

If you’re wondering why I want you to join the Body by Vi challenge… because it works! It’s a simple plan that will help you accomplish your goals. In my first 30 days on the challenge I’ve lost 2 inches from my waist and 1 inch from my hips. I’ve never been hungry and I continue to eat all my favorite foods including pizza. :)

We’ll all be on the same page, and that will help us stay focused and keep each other motivated.
